Obtaining Sebastian County Court Records

1. Circuit Court Records

 Online Search:

Sebastian County Circuit Court was newly converted to an up-to-date online case management system called Court Connect. This platform allows users to search for most Circuit Court cases filed after September 1, 2023, with a little exception for cases filed between June 1 and July 31, 2023. Here’s a step-by-step guide to accessing Court Connect:

  • Access the Sebastian County Circuit Court Website: Start by directing to the Sebastian County Circuit Court website: Go to the “arcourt”  website.
  • Find Court Connect: See for a link or button marked “Court Connect” or “Online Case Search.” when you click it will redirect you to the Court Connect login page.
  • Conduct Your Search: Court Connect typically doesn’t require login authentication for public searches. You can search for cases using various approaches to refine your results:
    • Individual Names: Enter the first and last name of an individual engaged in the case.
    • Case Number (optional): If you have a specific case number, enter it directly for a targeted and easily accessible search.
    • Case Type: Refine your search by selecting a specific case type such as civil, criminal, domestic relations, etc.
    • Filing Date Scale (optional): Utilize the date range filter if you have a timeframe in mind for the case filing.
  •  View Case Details: Once you find the desired case, Court Connect will display information about the case with its name, case number, case type, and filing date type.

JusticeWeb:

Cases registered between June 1 and July 31, 2023, are not currently accessible through an online case management system, Court Connect. However, you can search for them using the Arkansas JusticeWeb system:

  • Visit the Arkansas JusticeWeb website:
  • Under “Court Type,” select “Circuit Court.”
  • Select “Sebastian” as the desired county.
  • Follow the given instructions to search for cases within the June-July 2023 time range.

 iSeries:

For cases registered earlier than 2015, the Sebastian County Circuit Clerk’s office uses an older iSeries system. Currently, public access to iSeries is not available online. However, you can visit the Circuit Clerk’s office in person to perform searches using iSeries terminals.

D. Public Kiosks:

The Sebastian County Circuit Clerk’s offices located in the Fort Smith and Greenwood courthouses offer public kiosks for in-person case searches. These kiosks provide functionality similar to Court Connect, allowing you to search for Circuit Court records using various search criteria.

2. District Court Records:

Online Search:

Unlike the online search facilities provided by the Circuit Court, the District Court does not provide the facility of online services for case information.
